A half barrel contains 15 ½ gallons of beer. (approximately 7 cases of 12 oz. beer.) A quarter barrel contains 7 ¾ gallons of beer.
HOW TO DRAW A PERFECT GLASS OF BEER
Place glass at an angle, about an inch below the faucet. Open the faucet quickly… all the way… Fill glass half full, gradually bringing it to an upright position… Let remaining beer run straight down the middle of the glass. This insures a ¾ “to 1” head. Close the faucet completely and quickly.
